iManager U2000

Network O&M is facing an unprecedented challenge brought about by the pressure accumulating from the rapid development of informational enterprise networks, steady growth of network sizes, and increasing complexity of VPN networks. Under the challenging circumstances, Huawei has launched the iManager U2000 Unified Network Management System (U2000 for short) to manage and maintain data communication devices such as switches and routers.
The U2000 provides varies network management functions including topology, configuration, resource, fault, performance, event, traffic, and report. It can help enterprise-level customers improve network stability and reliability, as well as achieve efficient, steady, and secure operation of core services so that customers can hold a leading position amongst fierce competitors.

 

Huawei's U2000 solution to the transport domain provides end-to-end (E2E) management and fault analysis for services over the time division multiplexing (TDM) network and packet transport network (PTN) to cope with "pain points" in routine operation and maintenance (O&M) of such transport networks. This innovative solution pushes forward the O&M of transport networks by enhancing O&M efficiency and continuously reducing operational expenditure (OPEX) accordingly. Its applications reach widely into national and provincial transport networks covering diverse industries such as broadcasting & television, energy and education.

 

The U2000 supports the management of broadband access, integrated access, and FTTx access networks. Therefore, it can manage digital subscriber line access multiplexers (DSLAMs) for broadband access, multi-service access nodes (MSANs) for integrated access, and gigabit-capable passive optical network (GPON) or Ethernet passive optical network (EPON) devices for FTTx access, and EOC devices.
The U2000 also supports the easy to enjoy (E2E) FTTx operation and maintenance (O&M) solution.
In addition, the U2000 extends its access management range to the home network and supports the TR069 protocol. Therefore, it can manage various types of user terminals in a centralized manner.
